🚨 MISSING FROM ADA, OKLAHOMA SINCE JULY 18, 2018 🚨
On July 18, 2018, Savannah “Savie” Ann Davis vanished from Ada, Oklahoma. She was only eighteen years old.
Savannah grew up in the Ada area and attended school locally, including time at Vanoss High School. She worked at Sante Fe Cattle Co steakhouse in 2018 and was still attending school. Friends remember her as quiet, kindhearted, and genuine—a young woman who tended to keep a small circle but who was always warm to the people around her.
Seven years later, Savannah is still missing.
According to available case information, Savannah’s grandmother, Novena Davis, dropped her off at her boyfriend’s house in Ada on July 18, 2018.
At the time, there had reportedly been tension at home following an argument. Savannah’s grandmother believed Savannah planned to travel to California, where her mother lived in Kern County (Bakersfield area). The assumption was that Savannah had decided to leave Ada and go stay with her mother.
But Savannah never arrived there.
Days later, when her grandmother attempted to contact the boyfriend, he reportedly said Savannah had left with someone in a maroon car. That statement is the last known explanation for what may have happened to her.
She has never been seen or heard from again.
Friends who have tried to piece together what happened say Savannah leaving voluntarily never made sense to them. In a recent email sent by one of her former classmates, the friend described the confusion many of them felt at the time:
“Savannah was a reserved girl who attended Vanoss High School. She had a small circle of friends… she was always nice to others and always stayed genuine.”
The friend also described how strange the situation felt in the days following her disappearance.
“No one seems to have information about her whereabouts… especially considering she had limited access to transportation.”
Perhaps most concerning was the fact that Savannah appeared to have left everything behind.
“She never withdrew from school and much of her belongings remained in her room, indicating that she had intended to return.”
For many of her classmates, the explanation that Savannah had simply left town never fully added up.
“This abrupt disappearance was unexpected, and it's puzzling that no one mentioned her alleged plans to go to California until three years after her disappearance sparked inquiries.”
One of the most unusual aspects of Savannah’s case is the timeline of the official report.
Although Savannah disappeared in July 2018, an official missing-person case was not entered into national databases until January 2023, nearly five years later.
Once the report was entered, Savannah’s case began appearing in national missing-person systems such as the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs).
That delay may explain why Savannah’s disappearance received very little public attention in the years immediately following the day she vanished.
Today, her case is recognized as an active missing-person investigation.
Physical Description
At the time she disappeared, Savannah Davis was described as:
Age: 18
Height: Approximately 5'5" – 5'7"
Weight: 160–180 pounds
Hair: Blonde or strawberry blonde
Eyes: Green (some listings report brown)
She was last known to be in Ada, Oklahoma, in Pontotoc County. Savannah would be about 25 years old today.
Seven years have passed since Savannah Davis disappeared, but cases like hers are often solved years later when someone comes forward with information that seemed insignificant at the time.
